Proud imagines the backroom machinations of a cunning Canadian Prime Minister and his chief of staff, when a young, attractive, and very inexperienced MP provides him with a new tool in his arsenal. Unfortunately for the Prime Minister – she may be the smartest man in the room! Award-winning playwright Michael Healey’s controversial play focuses on The Right Honourable Prime Minister (greatly influenced by Stephen Harper’s identity) as we’ve never seen him before (but may have suspected).
