Description

A collection of short plays woven together by Azal Dosanjh which he translated from the works of prolific Punjabi writer Gursharan Singh Bhaji.

Focused on the struggles of the everyday person under the thumb of unsympathetic leaders, Tamasha-O-Tamasha follows a hero-turned-fool’s journey. We join our protagonist on an adventure to perform for the king. Will they get to stage their play? Will they manage to help their village?

As the story unfolds, Tamasha-O-Tamasha uses absurd comedy to poke fun at the current political climate.
