Description

Five women—an exhausted suburban hockey mom, a fish out of water artist from Cuba, a wine-guzzling anthropologist, a sort-of vegan, and a doctor in an existential crisis—host each other once a month for dinner parties in their respective homes. In the course of five meals over five evenings, their relationships become fraught as secret resentments and alliances are gradually revealed. The women are left to question how they all ended up eating at the same table in the first place in this comedy that explores the complicated relationships between women through food.
